Laparoscopic-Assisted Vaginal Cystectomy

Following the laparoscopic part of the procedure, the surgeon proceeds with the vaginal approach. A speculum is inserted into the vagina to provide better visualisation of the cyst and surrounding structures. Through the vagina, the surgeon carefully opens the cyst and removes its contents. In some cases, the cyst wall may also be removed to minimise the risk of recurrence. Once the cyst has been completely removed, any bleeding is controlled, and the incisions are closed. Absorbable sutures may be used to close the vaginal incision, eliminating the need for suture removal.
