About Dr. Amit Kumar

Dr. Amit Kumar is an accomplished General & GI Surgeon with more than two decades of extensive experience in surgical practice, academic teaching, and complex patient management. He completed his MBBS from Calcutta University (NRS Medical College, Kolkata) and MS in General Surgery from Ranchi University (RIMS, Ranchi). 

A Fellow of IAGES and FISCP, he has held major teaching and consultant roles, including Professor of Surgery at Rama Medical College and Associate Consultant in GI Surgery at Dharmshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Delhi. 

Dr. Kumar has managed a wide range of emergency, gastrointestinal, laparoscopic, and colorectal surgeries, and has published several research papers in national and international journals. Known for his precision and compassionate approach, he is trusted for managing complex abdominal conditions, gallbladder diseases, hernias, colorectal issues, and advanced laparoscopic procedures with excellent outcomes.
