About Dr. Sumit Paria

Dr. Sumit Paria is a renowned Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with over 16 years of experience. He has recently joined MGS-MASSH Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, as the Head of Department – Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement.

Dr. Paria has extensive expertise in trauma surgeries, arthroscopy, arthroplasty, spine procedures, and complex joint replacements. He has independently performed numerous knee and hip replacement surgeries and assisted in over 150 major joint replacements across leading hospitals in India.

He completed his MS in Orthopaedics from the University of Delhi and pursued a Fellowship in Shoulder Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy from Fujigaoka Hospital, Japan. Dr. Paria has also contributed to research and publications in the field of orthopaedics and was awarded Best Senior Resident (Orthopaedics) in 2015–16 by the Delhi Government (West Zone).
