About Dr. Pritha Nayyar
Dr. Pritha Nayyar is a highly accomplished Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Specialist with over a decade of rich clinical experience in managing complex pulmonary disorders. She holds an MBBS from Pune, an MD in Pulmonary Medicine from Jaipur, a DNB in Respiratory Diseases, and a Diploma in Allergy & Asthma from CMC Vellore and the University of Colorado.
Currently, she serves as Head of Department pulmonology and sleep medicine at MGS MASSH Superspeciality hospital punjabi bagh, and also practices at Max Hospital, Saket. Dr. Nayyar’s expertise spans asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, allergies, interventional pulmonology, and critical care.
She has been recognized internationally, receiving the American Thoracic Society’s International Trainee Scholarship, and has presented award-winning research at national conferences. Known for her patient-centric approach, she combines advanced clinical knowledge with compassionate care, making her a trusted specialist in respiratory and sleep medicine.

- Second prize in Rajpulmocon – 2015, oral presentation on topic “To study the status of Body mass index (BMI) in patients of COPD and its correlation with the severity of COPD.”
- Received Scholarship for paper entitled “spectrum of Metabolic syndrome in COPD patients reporting to tertiary care teaching hospital” being selected for prof. S.N GAUR – Young Scientist Award in NAPCON’ 2014.
